Great first barra mate. Problem is its such a good start its gonna be hard to break your pb. Then again going by the size and numbers that seem to get pulled out of Awoonga maybe it wont be too hard at all. Well done.

Nice work Blooded Rod mate we camped next to you. It was great to hear the news of your big fish - my big side kick called me at monduran and told me the news ha i said " thanks god for that" after all the hard work you guys put in - it was great to hear. Well done again!!!

It was great to come back to the camp and have a laugh with you guys. How did the guy who swears a lot ( old mate Faaarrr ----- Ken i think his name was)?

And your sidekick with the hornett how did he go?

Next time you will have to get stuck in to that dampa i cooked up with the raisons geeseee it was good ha however it doesn't last long with my 135kg fishing mate hovering around the campfire like a blowfly ha

The stew was good too!! Nice to have firewood if you ask for it at Awoonga finally!!! Better value for $24.50 a night. Ausfish does work ha so ask for it and you will be happy campers again!!!

Let us know when you are going up for your next trip. We will be giving Monduran a good hit (3times already in 6 weeks with fish every trip around 90cm) The big fish should be coming on in december onwards if they follow last years patterns!

The campsite is massive just pitch a tent where ever you want - no double bookings and no hassles with shelters providing a jug, 4 bay toaster, fridge and 2 electric barbies - how good is that??? And it's a couple of hours closer to SEQ.

Big Fish: I did hear of a big fish thurs night but i'm looking for photos on that one. Will keep you updated for sure.

See you on the water one day - CheersSeekingBarradise
