    Moogerah 22 and 23 Dec

Friday was great! caught about 20 bass up to 47 cms and also two huge eels which didn't like it when I grabbed one of them so I could get my Jackall back. I got it but it snapped the end off the trebble. - Phew! they are a mighty strong animal.

Sat was not as good but between the three of us in the boat caught about 20 fish. Largest bass in the late 30's. Mate's first go trolling and he caught his first bass and his first yellowbelly.

Hi first yellowbelly was 40 cms and his second hit 50 cms.(Don't think I will take him again)

Tried again Friday 30 December. Lots of very small bass up to 30 cms. Caught about 15 or 20 but no legal sized fish.

Hard to get into the water because somebody used the old ramp and then left his ute and trailor parked on the ramp(Wheels of trailor still in water!) Couldn't use ramp unitl he decided that he had enough fish and returned to go home. Must admit if he had parked off the ramp he would have lost two mins of fishing time and he would have had to share the dam with other fishermen.

Many skiers on the dam - don't they know how shallow it is? Gave up early due to the actions of the skiers. I thought they are banned until the level improves? Seems not.

You can understand how Ramp Rage occurs. >

It is a pity that one persons actions can affect many because of lack of courtesy. Moogerah is a bit of a hike for most people (140 km round trip for me) and I know I'd be pretty cheesed off if I drove all that way without being able to launch.

Hopefully the person responsible might read your post and show a bit more CDF next time.

    Cheers
    Woody
