yellahunter: A guy there was using G-Vibes and didn't get a touch on them for the 5 or 6 hours he was there. We were right next to him and catching 50+ fish on actual Jackalls. I wouldn't bother going to North Pine without a Jackall or good Spinnerbait.

roydsy: It's landbased only. They give a few permits out for Canoes, Boats and Kayaks every year but they have already been taken for this year! If you end up going prepare to either go swimming for lures or loose a couple.

Okay now i am disappointed and it looks like no North Pine for me then. Thanks but no thanks. I will stick to Clarie Hall and Hinze for the time being. who are the lucky elite that manage to score the privilege, club members of something.... lucky buggers.

hey herby, North pine dam (or should I same Lake Samsonvale) is accessed via Petrie on the way out to Dayboro.

Mako, I see the permits are handed out by the Pine Rivers Fish Management Assn at $100 a pop. Its a shame they can't issue visitor permits or something similar, i would be more than happy to contribute towards stocking.

Yeah blame it on the drought. The dam is low on water at the moment, only 20.5% full. I've picked out a few snaggs to target once the water levels rise! I don't see why you wouldn't just go landbased. You'd probably catch more Bass landbased at Samsonvale then you would from a boat on Hinze.

i mean what is the difference in the two. finger in mouth hand under neath as your mate criticized the way my boy handled his bass i just hoped he pulled you up the way you handled the bass in the picture as they are both pretty much the same way
