Rock Fishing at Cairns
I'm from Hong Kong and like rock fishing. On March I went to carins and found that there's some good places: The rock along at the right hand side of carins.
Did anybody try? How is the result?
By car and on foot is impossible. Is there any boat can put me there? If so, who, where and how much?
Thanks a lot

Re: Rock Fishing at Cairns
Hi Fergus you may want to try the rock headlands along the cook highway, heading towards Port Douglas.
The rocks around the Palm Cove area ( near the jetty) is a good place to start, as is the rocks just north of Ellis beach.
Other spots are Yorkey's Knobs, Trinity Beach , or any of th eother rocky outcrops along the road to Port Douglas , such as Pretty Beach.
Pop into any of the fishing stores in Cairns such as "Fishing Wharehouse" or "Erskines Tackle",and the guys in their will be more than willing to help you out.
