Winds, tides, moon phases

Could anyone help with info about how wind, tides and moon phases influence fishing? As a beginner, I tried to fish in Botany Bay and had no luck.

Lilianna, this subject is very complicated and it would take many pages to answer you properly.
However, a good bit of the info you require can be found in a small publication called the "anglers almanac" and is available in most tackle stores. Its about 4 bucks and you will find plenty of basic info contained in it.
