    hi
watch your self at the inshore side as the waves come around the island and come into each other nice to watch but to be in or near. the northern side has a reef bottom and if the conditions are right you can get in close to the island ( watch the waves they get big quick ). the inshore side has a reef coming out about 200 mtrs or so watch the sounder for it .as for the eastern side you can get close to the rocks again watch the waves . as for the fishing i've picked up a feed of parrot and pan size squire . on your way over there check the bay for mac and tuna. the island is not the place to be if the seas are big as it offers no protection and if the seas are calm then take a good look around the place and you'll find a feed

    Re: old woman island

Old Women or Mudjimba Island is just north of Mooloolaba Qld. About 1k east off the Maroochy River, Twin Waters Resort, and Sunshine Coast Airport.

That bay can be full of Mackeral and Tuna.

May be too windy this weekend.

There is an awesome right hander on the point, one of the locals got reefed when I was there early on boxing day before the wind blew it out, lost a lot of skin, looks very sharky there to, youd have to be brave.
