Tin Can Bay and the Inlet

im heading up to tin can bay on the long weekend to do some fishing, might even jump on a charter to get out to the reefs. does anyone fish up there or has any tips as i have little experience with the area. i hope to target some whitting and flathead and try and tangle with a goldie or two for some fun.

I have heard a whisper that the area will fish poorly this weekend, something to do with the AMG, apparently when the ausfish members gather at peel island every fish in SEQ will make a bee line for the joint, if your keen for a charter try spirit of rainbow, don't like ya chances for a weekend trip on it though without a booking.

yeah i tired today and were booked out, should of tried a few weeks ago but i sort of only decided this weekend to head up there because it had been ages since my last trip,
oh well. i guess i dosent matter if the fish arent on the chew, its such a nice place to be anyway.
