    BRISSY RIVER

    hi all


    im wanting to head out the brissy river mouth, should i tie up to a shipping channel beacon and using a pilchard floating with gangs or am I better off going to Mud Island and anchoring there

    hefty fines for tieing up to beacons best u get an anchor and anchor outside of the shipping channel

    mate im certain that if you chuck a live mullet about a metre below a balloon (not too big or the fish wont be able to pull it under) you should get something big whether it is a shark, cobia or just a snapper you never know.

    thats sounds fine, cant wait, do i need to go as far as the yellow beacon out near northern tip of mud .or should the ballon float over into the shipping channel
    (not in to the ships ).
    how big should the live mullet be . and would a strip be ok of mullet be ok.

    with out sounding like a dick how many nocks you reacon i should get on a nice day in a few hours and should i be anchored or just put around

    i dont fish the brissi river much as i only just got my first boat so couldn't tell you for sure but im sure if u whack this post up in general chat some of the guys would be able to help you out or if u can pop into mossops sometime then i could give ya a few tips in person and my mates there could also help ya out
