My wife & I recently bought a block of land on Lamb Island to use as a weekender, holiday spot, whatever. It gives us a base to start exploring the southern part of the bay.
Does anyone know of decent locations close to Lamb? Being a north-sider, I haven't really fished down that far, but I hear it's pretty good. Any help much appreciated.

If you cut across the channel to Karagurra Island where the barge comes in you will find a deep little channel. Off the end of Island in this area is rocky as well. If you fish the sun down and sun up some nice little Squire can be pulled out.
Just toward the mainland from this spot at the yellow X beacon is a sandbar on the southern side of the marker and can be seen from the ferry on your way to Lamb.
Tossing a lure will get Lizards and Whiting can also be caught.
Around in the channel that runs down to Russel is a good spot for pots in front of the mangroves.
All these spots are accessable in your tinny, cheers Kev.
