Re: whiting
When fishing the Banks(estuaries), move after 10 - 15 minutes of no fish. I also like to work the depths. That is, if you try 3 spots at 6 feet and no fish, then try the same spots in say 3 feet. You will often find that whiting stick to a particular depth on any particular night. Quite often you will cactch all your fish in say, 4 feet, but on another trip, you might need to fish 8 feet all night. Once you have worked out what depth they are in, then worke the appropriate spots.

Re: whiting
I've managed 3 fish at 900,920 & 990 grms, two fish from Hope Island & one from Cobby all at night & all on soldier crabs,I dont shift much just unless I "drop" a good fish, they(the bigger ones)shut down for a long time when that happens, anyone interested in my rig/baits ect.but not the spots can drop me a private message if you wish, not saying it will get you the biggie but just what has worked for me in the past.Cheers Touchy.><> ><> ><>.
