I think its been coming and going with the wind - northerlies bring it in, southerlies push it back offshore. Its just a matter of finding a clear gutter. I hate the stuff, we have been getting it on and off at straddie also when the seabreeze blows. If I hit the beach and if there is snot weed on first cast im out of there...
Found very little weed at Fraser. Some around the Cape, but the east beach very clean. Then, August is a long way away.

I'm heading over to Fraser on 8 August and camping between Waddy Pt and Ngala Rocks. Weed hasn't been much of a problem past years at that time as winds tend to be more SE. May see you there.

I'm also heading over to Fraser around the 9th Aug. Haven't heard or read about the weed problem for a few months so I'm praying that it gone for the moment. Also praying for no 30knot SE like I got at Moreton this year >
