Haughton river softbaits
Hi folks,
Can anyone assist me as too what softbaits work the best in the Haughton Rver. I am heading out this weekend and i am aiming to use soft baits, to target most snag dwelling species. I am goin shopping for them thursday night. What should i go for?

That was a while ago now. I have also heard of the lack of action in recent times but that's fairly typical everywhere with the dry times we've all had.
We were trolling Predatek Vipers for most of our fish. Did do some luring with some Tilsans to though.
Cheers, Mark.

Went there on the weekend , caught nice size mullet for bait, and i used Dk ferretsa and halco scorpions, few crabs around, of course just a touch under, and only one fish was landed all day and that was a 54cm jack i took on a Dk ferret, yes things are pretty slow there at the moment

That's a nice Jack though to catch up a river. He should be thinking about heading out to the reef at that size
