    Help on Fishing Redcliffe/Redlands Region

Hi, recently moved to Mango Hill. Looking for the best fishing spots in the area. Have a 4.5m tinny with 40HP. Mainly into river / estuary fishing but prepared to venture into bay/ offshore in good weather! Any suggestions greatly appreciated?????

Re: Help on Fishing Redlands Region

Mango Hill is off the Bruce Hwy near Redcliffe isn't it. Nowhere near the Redlands unless I'm mistaken.

Bribie Is is a good launching spot to head out into the bay chasing mackerel and tuna. Now and the next 2-3 months is prime time for that.

The shallow reefs out thefront of Redcliffe are supposed to be good for bream and squire.

You also have all the Pumicestoe Passage from Bribie to Caloundra to chase flathead, bream and whiting. The mouth of Glasshouse Ck is good for flathead.

There is also the Pine River, but I hae never fished there.
