Hi all just hoping that someone may be able to help me find some live bait by jigging in the broadwater (herring ect).. use to get em off the old grand jetty when i was a young fella but not there anymore
The foot bridge that goes over Loders Creek or the Boat ramp on the Northern side. There are a few lights in this area that attract Herring and Mullet.
Another spot worth trying is the Boat Ramp down on the southern side of the old Gold Coast Highway/Sundale Bridge. Seen guy's throwing castnets in this area for Herring. The new jetty in the same area would also be worth a try.
Thanks Cragie and Sharkbait, will give Loders a go as often put in there, than seaworld and if no luck make that long SLOW trip to Sundale that seems to take hours when your itching to put a line in
