hi guys check this out went boat fishing today in the north sea off of the essex coast and out of 9 guys fishing only 5 caught any fish and the largest fish caught was a 1 1/2 pound cod which i caught along with 2 whiting there can only have been 10 fish caught all day!! how sad is that just wanted you guys to know just how bad it is over here lol and it was not just us all the other boats that were out there and made radio contact did just as bad!! so at least it was'nt just us £35.00 each to catch next to nothing do you guys ever get blank days like this? i love my fishing but today i was just cold and bored still better than working i guess lol cheers paul

We get the odd day like that, but not normal, we can just about get a feed if we want one any time. Have spent a lot more money on a charter and not boated a fish, even though the crew tried hard, some days they seem to disapear, much easier in your own boat as you can change tactics and locations any time, bit hard when on a charter.
