What was old is new again.

The song is "Big Yellow Taxi" by Joni Mitchell recorded 1970. (not that I was around then but Google has the answers).

Dylan apparently also did a version in 1973 (Google again).

Counting Crows and Vanessa Carlton released a version in the last couple of years.
