    Tin Can  - Yabbies

Could anyone familiar Tin Can bay / Inskip suggest some likely areas to pump up some yabbies "relativelly" easily??

I dont think you will have trouble finding Yabbies anywhere in the Souther end of Tin Can Bay. It is all shallow muddy sand.
I pumped them at the bottom end of the Tin Can Bay township near the boat ramp at low tide and there was about 100 acres of them to pick from. If only the fish were as easy to catch.

    Hi BlueE,
If you need yabbies at Inskip drive to nearly the end of the sealed road just before the sand track to the barge begins. There are yabbie banks everywhere on the calm side of the spit 10M out from the mangroves. About a 25M walk. You will get heaps from 3 hours after a high to 3 hours before the next. Take the Rid though.
    ROLL TIDE, ROLL.................

    Regards,

    G'Day Mate,

When in Tin Can Bay I pump for yabbies where the end of bream street meets the beach, walk directly out about 50-70 metres. Heaps of them.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers Lyndo
