    fisherman's Island

    hi all...
    anyone know any good spots around fishermans Is. for land base fising. always see heaps of ppl there but i wonder if they catch anything???? not too sure if the fish there is safe to eat either. looks like lots of waste foes into the water!!!

    Well a good spot for bream a little walk down the road. There is a track just after the bridge on the left go to the end of the rocks on the making tide. Floats maybe needed for this watch the run bottom bash works well on slow runs. If you stand on the corner look towards the barge ramp there is a edge just 15m from the rocks. i have had some good bream there 26+ and one flathead along the bank with fly rod.If only i could get more time to gat back there. TRY THE BREAM ON LURE.

    I'm not sure how to get in there but the Visy Paper Plant is a good area. Out the back there they have a run down jetty that seems to hold some good bream.
