Have been fishing plastics for a few years now and have never found any particular colours working at different times a lot of the softplastic success is the action you put into them and sizes and jig head weights rather than colours, just in my experience.
Hey guys,
Ive jsut been thinking about ti recently and I was wondering if you have noticed any changes in the types of soft plastics fish will take over the different seasons. I haven't really been fishing softies long enough to notice but with this oncoming winter i thought it might be worth talking about. If it does happen what would be the reasons. Different baits around at different times of the year, different feeding and predatory habits?
Interested,
Jackash.
I dont think it is colors etc that needs to be changed seasonally, normally the action that is needed to be changed when fishing for different speices. The bream at the moment seem to be very aggressive, and I have had no problems using bigger SP's targetting them.
