    Braid basics

Can someone please help me with a not to tie 50lb braid onto a swivel or clip?

The easier the better. I only know knots for mono and am scared of the braid.

Also any other usefull knots for braid, Doubbles etc...

    Thanks

    Re: Braid basics

I use 50lb super braid and use a double uni for joining a leader to the braid and use a locked half blood knot with about 8 to 10 turns when attaching a swivel. I've never had any failures with these knots and I love to keep it simple.

I use the Palomar knot for connecting braid to terminal tackle. excellent strength & has not let me down.

yo dropbear, i only use uniknots on braid. uniknots are the pick of the lot in my opinion,( use the same knots for mono) had no failures as yet. warning, watch braid for nicks & abrations. good luck, kevy.

    Drop-Bear
As Heath said, Palomar for terminal tackle straight to braid, Uni-knot for most other situations. Bimini for doubles.

Easiest and one of the best is the Centauri. Doesn't slip and busts at line strength, not below.
