Berkly 3" bass minnow on a 1/16 size 2 jig.
colour depends on the weather water clarity time of day and mood of fish.
my suggestions is get a few colours eand even if some arnt good for bream on the day flathead love them

    yep. thats just about it.

sometimes i cut the first 1cm off the head of the plastic to shorten it a bit.

3" Berkley Bass Minnow in Pearl/Watermelon, would have to be the single most popular one going around.

The colour clutter recommends is my favorite but just to prove they will go for others, here is a fish caught today.

Sticking out the corner of its mouth is a #3 squidgy wriggler in Avocado. the jig head was a 2g #2. leader was berkley vanish 6lbs and main line pink fireline 6lbs.

That should be enough to encourage you to get out there and try some plastics :-)

sure it seems some work better than others but i think they will take anything if it presents well.

Oh yeh... the fish was 33cm and released straight after this photo was taken.

    Re: bream on plastics

start off ur fishing with a very light leader say 4-6lb, 2inch plastics in natural colours such as greens and browns and 1/16th oz. jighead, and see where that gets you.

And fish them REALLY slow. You can catch them on anything given the right technique!!
