    Livey Locations at The Pin

Can anyone help me out with locations for catching livies
(pike, mullet etc) for Jew at the Pin ?

Any advice at all would be appreciated.

Whereabouts at the pin do you launch and where do you intend fishing for jew? No you don't have to give away your spots just want to know the general area.

I fish down there for jew a bit - mainly around the bar area - and have a few spots now where I can consistently catch bait. I use a cast net and it is alot easier with someone else driving the boat for you.

Are you using a cast not a drag net? With a cast net you are mainly looking for small creeks with a bit of depth. Try Duck Ck opposite Squire Is.

I have found recently that there is alot of weed and silt/mud which will foul your net, so it will be a challenge to find somewhere clean to cast.

There are a few others on here who also fish for jew down the pin who may help. Or you can look back through past posts as this topic comes up quite frequently.

    Thanks Jeremy
I was thinking about trying around Swan Bay and areas near the bar. I was looking at using a cast net or maybe jigging for pike.

    Ta for the advice.
