Im 16 and am wanting a boat licence

Hello, i was just wondering if any of you guys had any information regarding where i would aqurra a boating licence. I was told that there is a special part of the year where you can get a discount or somthing along them lines

I don't think there is any good or bad time to do it... by far the best though is the course through Archies Boat Licence Training... he's a pretty clued in guy with a boat thats got more gadgets than your average light aircraft... literally.

Shaz, try the Australian Boating College, they teach on the maroochy river and there teaching room is on the lake near the waterfront hotel across from the fishermans road boatramp.. they charge around $250 for a full weekend of training and education about boating safety and your probably better off learning in there boat

For the budget minded, call Norm Leeson at the SE Qld power boat club Yeronga. Try 3848 6419(I think). he charges about $45.
