Heelo everyone, going to jacobs well in 2 weeks, never been there before, can anyone tell me of some good spots for fishing and where to pump yabbies.thanks for all your help.

Do you have a boat? If so, launch at Jacobs and head up close the the Pin bar. Good yabby bank north west of the five ways just near the little island. As for fishing just look for the boats. Kalinga Bank is always popular, as is NE tip of Crusoe Island, small channel at the western mouth of Duck Creek. Closer back to Jacobs, the northern channel opposite the main Jacobs Well channel (plenty of small draining creeks).

Of course it all depends on what type of fish you are chasing - Bream i assume? If so, Kalinga Bank holds big Bream (amongst other big fish!). The shop right on the Jacobs Well ramp will surely give you a few tips if you buy something off them.
