I just found a good weather site for SE QLD just click on Goldcoast.

This will give you half hour wind and direction.

This is the G/Coast wave rider bouy at narrowneck.

you only have to go to browniescoastwatch.com.au
boating weather. wave rider bouys there's 1 just off the seaway.

It is an International Commercial Site that does not cost an arm and a leg. Long range forecasts we find them a bit off but gets it close for the 24 to 48 hour forecasts.
