I know a few of you blokes have been up to Fraser recently so jsut wondering. HOw are the Tailor going especially up at Waddy. Whats the weed like? Any any other revelant information would b great.

Hi Jackash
I was there beginning of the month. Tailor gutters were working at Waddy just a little north of the northern 400mtr fishing ban sign, Orchid Beach at the northern down track from the village and on the northern side on Ngkala Rocks. However, weed was sometimes a problem but you were able to vary between the spots to avoid it. Don't know what the present situation is. The sand over Indian Hd bypass, Middle Rocks and Ngkala Rocks bypass was very soft when I was there.

Gday Mate,
I was up at Fraser between the 4th and the 10th. As far as the weed goes it was bad early in the week but was clearing around Waddy on the 10th and in a Southerley direction. Therer was a productive gutter about 2 Ks North of Dundaburra that was producing some good Tailor aound Dawn and Dusk. I fished it in the last hour or so before dusk and got a good haul. (At least good for me) There is a report and PIC in the saltwater Pics area of this site.
