Anyone caught Jew off the Sunshine coast beaches lately? If so, any info would be appreciated. Do you reckon saturday mornings high tide will be worth a go?
I have heard that it is a good spot, but ussually fished from a boat (or am I wrong). I think I'll have to waite until the next flood and then target them just outside the mouth.
Fished Sunshine beach on saturday morning. 3 x Tailor. One was 50 cm, which wasn't too bad. Unfortunately no jew. There was a fair amount of side wash in the early morning, so keeping a large bait in the water was difficult. Not a bad little gutter formed just north of the life saving club. If you go to the carpark just past the lifesaving club and look up the beach towards the national park you should see it. Well I could see it at 2 am on saturday morning.
