Sand Pumping Jetty

Has anyone fished the Sand Pumping Jetty at Southport recently or know how it has been fishing? I haven't heard much at all this year. Usually there are a few reports around but does not seem to have been any lately.

Usually does pretty slow this time of year after the tailor have movied on. There are often the odd few hanging around, so try drowning some pillies off the southern facing side, half way along the jetty.

This time of year you're generally better off focusing your efforts on bream, dart, whiting on the bottom etc. The seaway rock walls are also worth a shot this time of year if the jetty's quiet.

Thanks for that. I am planning to head down there sometime in the next couple of weeks (depending on the weather of course)
