    Advice on Inside Fraser

    Hi Guys.
Thinking about taking my boat to Fraser and fishing area around the mouth of Boon Boon creek for Flathead on inside Fraser..
Appears that Barges go to Wanggoolba Ck and Kingfisher which seems to be the closest point.
Is there any beach camping just outside resort as I beleive travel on beach is not possible in that area ???.
Maybe a better option would be to go to Wanggoolba and fish the mouths of the creeks in that area ???
    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks
    Jeno

You could try Ungowa. Its south of Kingfisher and has a camping area and there is a boat ramp there beside the old jetty. The water here drops off farly deep stright off the edge of the coffee rock. Even off the shore you will catch a variety of reef fish.

There are a few other spots further south of here easily reached by boat. Deep Creek and white cliffs are good spots.

If you want to go North from Kingfisher then try Woralie Creek. You can camp here and the creek is good for whiting and flathead.
