Chris, the toadies in my area grow bloody huge, some colourful some plain grey. They are resposible for the odd attack on humans as well. They have tried to attack me while spearfishing but I can normaly outswim the pathetic creatures. They can't swim very fast. Last year a man had a chunk of his calf muscle ripped out by a toadie while swimming at the beach.
Biggest fish was a gold spot cod. Outweighed my scales of 30kg. I estimated about 35kg.
