    What to look for when Jiggin'

    G'day all,

    I am going to try my first bit of jiggin' of the xmas holidays and was wondering what to look for when doing it...

    Should I look for peaks, drop-off's, etc. I am gathering reefy, rocky bottoms are a must but other than that I am stumped...

    Do I just find somewhere that I think 'looks good' and just jig my little heart out Also should I Jig into bait schools and the like that i see on the sounder...

    Wayne, around here steep ledges in 80m plus of water are the best bet for ajs and kings, anywhere like the northern end of the barwons and steep ledges up that way at this time of year will see you in a lot of pain LOL.
