Gold Coast Charters

We are looking to get the old man a deep sea fishing charter for Xmas!!!

Was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on a Charter to go with based on their previous experiences, good catches etc ?

I went out with BKs Fishing Charters this morning from the goldcost, weather was fabulous, but the fish didn't want to play. Lots of bait around, just no big fish.

Ended up scoring a few nice tailor, but that's about it. Doesn't look like the other boats out there were getting too much, so I wouldn't blame the company, just a crap days fishing.

I used to work for a large charter company on the coast which I won't recommend but if you walk down the end of the wharf at marina mirage there is a boat called "Hillary Sunset" which is probably one of the most consistent producers on the coast, not sure of phone numbers but if you still haven't booked something this boat is a pretty good bet.

went on a charter last weekend from the coast through "Gone Fishing" charters. weather was pretty good so went out to the 36s. got some good fish,all good quality [pearl perch,snapper,parrotand good size trag. ]1/2 day charter and still took home half a dozen fish each. dont think anybody is catching much in close.prey for good weather. good luck

Not a bad day, slight swell, fishing was thin. Bottomed bashed for a while, then trolled for about 1 1/2 hrs when it went slow, then back to bottom bashing.
