just wonderin if any1 has fished that area and if they have had any luck? went yesterday out there and got lots of good! size whiting and moses perch, 2 rays and a couple of ones that got away one of which took a live hardy head and took my hole line out and snaped it of because i was using a egg beater real with 3 kg line for smaller/ish fish . thought it could of been a shark the way it acted

you can catch big fish on light line if you set your drag correctly and take your time. My best are a 4.25 kg flathead on 1 kg line, 5.3 kg shark on 3 kg line and 5.7 kg jew on 3 kg line - all line pretest

hey jeremy , yeh i had the drag set properly and all but this fish just picked up the bait and ran and didnt stop and took all my line out and snaped it al off,
