Thread: Snapper and plastics

    Re: Snapper and plastics

    Some nice information there Trent

I like to use Zoom super Fluke but those Berkley Droshopts are pretty deadly.
My setup currently is a St Croix 7'6 rod with a Stradic 4000 spooled with 12lb braid. i usually run 20lb leader offshore and 12-16 in the bay. I try to run TT jigheads all the time but it can get a bit expensive with enough bustoffs or structure hookups

Heheheh, vertico has a setup like that, spends months trying to fool one into his plastic, one trip with me.. after ive been doing a bit of fly swoffing instead of throwing plastics, and i snag one unintentionally.. muahahahahaa

    Re: Snapper and plastics

Got some new plastics coming from the USA which aren't currently sold in Australia. They're just like snapbacks but should be more like the shap of a Zoom Super Fluke. Also getting some new fluorocarbon leader in 12lb and 20lb which should be alot more economical than the other big brands like half the price for twice as much.

Stay Tuned should have more information in 2 weeks
