    bill fish @ the sunshine coast

    wanta have a go trolling for billy's of the sunny coast anyone got any info...was thinking of useing a tld25 {that was not bought from ashley, bad taste i know}i have never tried so all info would be a great help ...was thinking of useing skirts

    Andy, there's a few around at the moment up there. Read back into the old posts both here and on pakula.com for alot of great advice. If you're serious, you should maybe try joining a club or getting a spot out on another boat first, otherwise it can be a slow learning curve. I'm a member of the Sunshine Coast Game Fishing Club, and everyone there is very helpful and welcoming to new comers.

    clearwater i would definately go along to a sunshine coast game fish meeting. there are a lot of things to learn abd fishing with someone experienced in that sort of fishing is the best way to learn

    thanks for the info guys at the moment i'm sporting a broken leg so its kinda hard to get around..i normally fish murphy's is that to close in for catching them .....

    not at all andy. plenty of blacks to be caught from about 4-5nm out east.

    thanks for that info jeffo ..so do u fish up that way a bit then ..i mostly upto now have mostly just hit the reef and chased tuna and mack's

    i live on the sunshine coast so its my home ground. plenty of good fishing to be had out here.

    hey jeffo do u know andy oar he works at a fishermans paridaise..... i have been fishing up that way for about 10 years and mostly have the reef worked out but as you know you can never know enuff when it comes to fishing .....

    Andy Orr bought Peter Pescell's Red Express. That boat caught the most Billfish in Australia one year only a few ago. Plenty of Billies and other gamefish to be caught from Old Woman to the Blinker to Murphys to the close in Caloundra reefs.

    i use to know him when he was working in brissy i have not seen him in a few months ..he is one good fish killer ...he is a smart one when it comes to fishing.. if you see him and if you know him tell him andy from brissy said g'day

    andy no longer works at fishermans world. funny you mention peter pescells old marlin magnet smithy. was reading through an old bluewater in at stewies the other day and came across a bit on it.
