Andy, there's a few around at the moment up there. Read back into the old posts both here and on pakula.com for alot of great advice. If you're serious, you should maybe try joining a club or getting a spot out on another boat first, otherwise it can be a slow learning curve. I'm a member of the Sunshine Coast Game Fishing Club, and everyone there is very helpful and welcoming to new comers.
clearwater i would definately go along to a sunshine coast game fish meeting. there are a lot of things to learn abd fishing with someone experienced in that sort of fishing is the best way to learn
clearwater that should read ;; there is a lot to learn about game fishing and fishing with someone experienced is the way to learn. sorry about the typo
thanks for the info guys at the moment i'm sporting a broken leg so its kinda hard to get around..i normally fish murphy's is that to close in for catching them .....

Andy Orr bought Peter Pescell's Red Express. That boat caught the most Billfish in Australia one year only a few ago. Plenty of Billies and other gamefish to be caught from Old Woman to the Blinker to Murphys to the close in Caloundra reefs.
i use to know him when he was working in brissy i have not seen him in a few months ..he is one good fish killer ...he is a smart one when it comes to fishing.. if you see him and if you know him tell him andy from brissy said g'day
