i have a mitchel over head and it is half full with 50lb and iwant to put 15kg on it, should i use the 50lb as backing and fill the rest of the reel with 15kg or should i take all 0of the 50lb of and fill the whole spool with 15kg
i also hane two shimano tr200g's thre quaters full with 50lb and want to put 15kg on them too
G,day Chemmy what are you going to use the reels (outfits) for. this should be the deciding factor on what line classes you use. eg: tr200g loaded with 6kg for floatlineing snapper in the bay.So if you tell the site more about what your going to do with the outfits the tips will be more helpfull. Roy.
10kg would probably be the best bet allround. if you must go heavier for whatever reason ??? its not like youll fit much 50lb on a tr200! then 30lb would be the way to go, and a full spool of it.
