    Cabbage tree point - Locations

Hi guys, im going to a hire a boat from cabbage tree point and go fishing for the day with a few mates.

Are there any particular areas that i should know about that are hotspots for fish near that area.

Also are there beaches in the vicinity that you can only reach by boat.

Thanks for your replies in advance

where abouts will you be hiring the boat from?

as i'm looking at doing the same thing myself, but i dont have a tow bar so the hire place would have to be on the water.

Im assuming they have them already in the water.
3.7 metre are $14 an hour $70 all day or 4.3 metre $20 p/h, $95 for the day.

These are small boats that dont require a lisence. I know some of you real fisherman wouldn't be caught dead in something like that.

All the flats just north of Cabbage Tree Point are also good. As well around the rocky headlands although watch the outcrops. All in behind the nearby islands north too. I grew up down there and as a kid caught heaps off the bank
