had a dilema with a mate?
he says that a Blackking fish and Cobia are 2 defferent fish.
i thought that they were the same fish with 2 names like squire /snapper??
i have noticed that reefmaster ( greg ) posts Cobia that are dark with disstinct white stripes. but bigger versions dont have the same stripes.
the wife caught a 88cm version of what i called to be a cobia. but have been told it was more likly to be blackking fish.
pic below, it looks like stripes in pic but it was actually just very dark brown . the marks are from floating arround in the kill tank for 4 hours.
would appresiate your thoughts!
