hey guys
i was watching a show on fox tonite and they were saying that black marlin can reach speeds of upto 80mph..i knew they were fast just not that fast

I thought tests done a while back concluded sails hit about 60mph and were the fastest, blacks def go like little rockets but wahoo and sails do seem faster to me.

first run of a big sail always seams faster than a blacks. cant mistake it. but id still rather catch blacks.... just love those little fellas.

well guys i'm going to give bill fish a go this year i get a real buzz of chaseing tuna and do it every year ...so after seeing that on foxtel the other nite i think its a go alright ..

yeah rob is right on that one. sails are the fastest recorded fish in the world at 80kph. blacks are good for 60 odd. i remember that from walkers kay chronicles on austar they had a report on sail fish fishing of pannama or somewhere and they had a scientist segment that said all about fast fishes.
