Where is it? Where is it? Do you talk in your sleep?
It is night shift, you must be feeling sleepy by now
The wreck is about 10nm or so east of hummocky island, that is the only idea i have. Cheers. GPS points are very hard to obtain.
Ive looked at "DiveOz" - a dive site which has GPS marks of reefs and wrecks around Australia and Queensland. I always thought those who dive in waters with sharks around must be pretty stupid or dumb. But alas, i have now been proven otherwise. You can find out pretty much straight away which wrecks they rate around cq straight away. Linda Jane and Barcoola. They have points for Barcoola but the last digit is not supplied for the lat and long- meaning you have &*() all chance of finding it especially if you have no patience. Not to worry though because i have that one, Linda Jane is what im looking for and hopefully i eventually find or get the points. Even in there Wreck Diving forums, like this where on now, they will not disclose any GPS points what so ever, in fact there posts indicate they HATE fishermen with a passion. In fact, one poster on their forum tells a story of him going to a wreck, finding two fishermen on it, he then told them to move so he could get on to it to dive. Not sure who has right of way here, i know you have to keep a certain distance away from a diver - marked with a surface buoy. But what if your there first, if i was there id know what id say if someone demanded i move off a wreck when i was there first.
spot on there Macdwp01. Tell them where to go quick smart. And if they get too close, that's where the big metal jigs on 80 lb braid come in. Ouch!
