trolling for spotties, shoolies and longtail tuna
Hi fellas
I was just wondering if any one would know the speed you need to troll for Mac’s and long tail tuna in the bay and what is the best lure for the job
Cheers Michael

Try 5-7 knot with blue pillies or mid size rapalas.

try bleeding a longtail well, take a few slivers off the shoulders, add soy sauce, wasabi, ginger and bingo! Awesome sashimi!! Not as good as a yellowfin, but still damn good all the same

Nathan,
I caught a few near Rattlesnake around this time last year - sashimi when fresh but they also freeze well and cooked up with soy and garlic are awesome.
Looking forward to better weather so I can get into them again!
