I put a post up a while back ...just wanted to see if i could get any more responses .
Will be up on my honeymoon in palm cove between 16 and 23rd of March ( after a week fishing the whitsundays ) and the missus is allowing me a day out chasing the Barra .
I want to get the most out of it...as i have not fished the northern waters all that much ...and want to do a solo guided mission ...flicking flys and throwing some minnows etc ...
Can ANYONE recommend me a TOP class operator to get me amongst it for a day ...i don't mind driving out of Palm cove up to an hour if the fishing or operators are better ...
billo,havnt heard any recommendations really, but try "FISHING THE TROPICS" ph 40581820 or "FISHING THE NORTH" ph 40452987. these are couple that i've seen around a bit. good luck.
he can put you on to the best guys - from palm cove i'd probably look for a charter luring at the top end of the Daintree River - just over an hour north of Palm Cove - most of the charters (well the cairns based ones) will drive you up from Cairns though - so you could put your feet up for the day.
