    Bribie Surfside Condition??

I have heard of late that Bribie has been copping a hiding and the surf beach is not much to speak of.

    Is this so? [smiley=confused.gif]

Also, is attacking the track to Poverty Point/Bay/Beach worth the trip? I have heard there is "Quick Sand" around there???

If there is Beach on the surf side, are there any recent fishing reports?

I know I am asking a lot but I want to have an enjoyable day with the wife and squids!

    Cheers

    Cheers,

Went up this morning circa 8.15am and was no probs. after that high tide was a little high and got on the p!ss. Caught a 35cm bream in the first lagoon on peeled prawn.

There was a hell of a lot of activity in the lagoons during the day. Absolutely no idea what they were. definitely not mullet.

Anyway a good day had by all.

Talked to a ranger today and was told poverty creek had no quick sand only wet sand tracks.

    Cheers again
