ring the parks and wildlife up there and they will give you the lastest on the mudlow rocks. The rocks have been extremly good of late and easily passable a few hours either side of low but it can change pretty quickly.

There isnt much protection in the bay like there has been so be carefull with the nasty beach dump that can occur. Sat should be pretty good but there is a rising swell forecasted for sunday which you may want to be very wary of. If the swell is over 1.5mtrs in a easterly or se direction you will find it curling its way around into the bay. If its a southerly swell its not really a concern as long as it doesnt get over 1.5-2mtrs. fishing in close has been good and snapper should be around on dark. Fish the gravel grounds outside the 1.2km radius of wolf rock (1.5-2km east of wolf is better ) as the pearlies have been in good numbers and size. We pulled some 5kg ones in close recently. Its also worth a quick troll first thing in the morning for pelagics or anchor up on the pinncales and float a livie out under a ballon.

I was up ther 2 weeks ago on a similar tide lows in morn and afternoon with a midday high. Rocks? what rocks, only saw 2 with a 4m gap between them. There was no swell and a slight s/e so launching off the beach was a breeze. The closer to DI you can get the calmer it got. I'm headin up again this weekend but the forcast looks a bit lumpier... The bar has been fairly soft as an alternative. Plenty of options both close and out wide. Good luck
