Rough weather for Boyne Tannum hookup

Been watching the computer models for next weekend as I and a heap of CQ boaties [and land based] are in the local Boyne Tannum Fishing Comp.
I am an Agnes Water/1770 local and look forward to this event every year.

Yesterday the computer had lighter south winds on Fri 10th but today it says the high will persist with SE 20 knots right through the weekend.

Watch this thread for updates on forecast outside weather conditions for the comp weekend...10/11/12th June

Still looks like 3 days of mod to fresh SE.

Bom has now kicked in and given us an actual forecast instead of a model.................
Capricornia Waters, St Lawrence to Burnett Heads:
Wednesday until midnight: SE winds 15/20 knots. Seas and SE swell to 1.8 metres in open waters. Isolated showers.
Thursday: SE winds 15/20 knots. Seas and SE swell to 1.8 metres in open waters. Isolated showers.
    Friday: SE winds 15/20 knots.
    Saturday: SE winds 13/18 knots.

I would reckon its going to be lumpy even though Saturdays forecast has decreased simply because its been blowing 20 knots for 2 weeks and the swell is nearly 2 metres.
I live 1.5km from the beach at Agnes and at night if you go outside you can hear the surf crashing.
Bring on the lighter wind please fishing god !!!
