Hi Jackash, still some great tailor around on the beaches at night on gar, the odd jewfish north of the wall on mullet and some honker bream and flathead on the beach as well on low tide. About 4 tonne of mullet sitting in the lower end of the river.
Might want to watch camping on the river as it is all marine Park and the Marine Park rangers are pretty strict! Send me a pm just before you come and I might be able to give you some more up to date info.
    Cheers

Stay at Masey Green Caravan park right on the river. Nice spot that. The rock wall should be definetly worth a go with a few tailor fillets

AHH Brunswick is a favourite of mine...IMO an awesome spt for light sp and hb lures for bream....and the chance for something a litle bigger and faster

Full moon I was told is the best as the jew like to hunt when there is a lot of light. Mate of mine caught one there on the lead up to the full moon and the tides was coming full and pretty big. Was also quite rough that night

everyone has their own ideas ...I prefer the dark of the moon especiaaly in places where prawns run to sea.....but thats just me....a live mullet let to run out with no lead ....BOOM!
