Spots in the Coomera
I went to the Coomera for the second time today and did Ok but I am wondering if there are any spots worth a try. Using plastics and looking for Bream or Flathead. Much appreciated.

Simon,
For flatties in the Coomera try the mouth of the north and south arm, particularly on the run out tide. From memory, the north arm has good weed beds just south of the mouth that also hold plenty of flatties.
However if you are willing to venture a little farther, there are heaps of great flattie spots from Nerang to the Pin, particularly from August to October.

Re: Spots in the Coomera
Thanks marty, am probably going to venture there this week and have a look around the north arm. I can see in Brownie's that there are a few rock bars in the north arm as well. Can only try I suppose. Thanks for your reply.

Plenty of smaller bream (20-25) hanging around in schools either side of the M1. Also a good place to live bait in the summer. Plenty of big bust offs but ive only managed to land sharks, cat fish and pike eels. Good luck.
