    Moreton Bay pelagics

    Hello everyone

I am a new Ausfish member who has recently moved to the Bayside of Brisneyland. I own a Seafarer Vamp (5.0 CC) and am very keen to chase the longtails and macs around Moreton Bay. Problem is that most of my mates are not fisho's, which often leaves me having to launch and retrieve by myself (often not so fun at Cleveland Point with 20 other boats waiting to get in the water). Having been bought up only freshwater fishing, I have only had very limited success with the pelagics so far. If any member is out there who could pass on some tips on this style of fishing, or who'd like to shoot out and chase the schools some time, please feel free to reply.

    Cheers

YES! Pick me, pick me!! I've had a good strike rate on all bay pelagics this year and will be happy to spill my guts with most the secret info, pay my share of costs and help clean down for a run out as I'm still between boats at the moment. Attached are a couple of pics of deckies that have been out with me without much experience to try to sweeten your decision. Stay out of this Matt and Mike .

    Rob,
The sad thing is these pics are getting old and overused as I just have to keep using them till I get out again when the rig is ready. I'll run you out for a couple time outside as I've got a lot to learn and I try to milk as much info outta you when fishin without pissin you off .

Everyone, this is Tuna. He has been in a couple of my posts and fishes with me often- if we get out these days .
    http://www.ausfish.com.au/cgi-ausfis...580581;start=0 .
His nicname used to be tuna as he is good at hooking them but had a little trouble landing them to begin with. Now he no longer fishes with me as he caught MY big tuna. He enjoys long walks, smelling flowers and me rubbing sunscreen on his back while we float around in my boat .

Great, now I think I lost Vic . This seems to be happening often. If it's about the sunscreen thing, it's all good [smiley=sick2.gif] [smiley=freak.gif]. I'm even happy to pop any zits and pluck any hairs off your back while I'm there . You know you like it Greg, not that there is anything wrong with it [smiley=anxious.gif] [smiley=freak.gif] [smiley=uhoh.gif] [smiley=stunned.gif] .

Vic, since it's your 1st post and I see you haven't returned, I don't wanna actually scare you off [smiley=uhoh.gif] [smiley=stunned.gif]. I feel I'm on thin ice with Steve at times [smiley=brood.gif] and don't wanna scare off his members. Attached is a pic of my wife [smiley=love.gif].
So can I come fishin now ???. I still can rub sunscreen and pop zits if that is what it takes [smiley=stunned.gif] [smiley=confused.gif] [smiley=sick2.gif] .
