    Hello from the States. Quick question.

    Hey everybody.

    Was wondering the best locations in Australia to catch yelowfin, bluefin, and bigeye tuna.

    I look forward to learning about the fishing in Aussiland.

    bermagiue (sp)
    south coast of NSW and home to some big yellow fin as well as the odd bluefin
    and also a shot of a marlin and mako shark too but sadly also home to a fair size fleet of tuna boats the work the area

    there mainly start of the year fishies.
    december through april on the Queensland coast.
    from brisbane north.
    Bigeye Tuna not shore?
    then it realy gets ughly

    Is the tuna fishing close to Melbourne, or further east?

    more north east however you can get them pretty much at some time of the year or another right around australia

    If your in melbourne hire a car drive up the east coast.ca 5hr drive to bermagui /Narooma. its also the closest point you can reach the continental shelf from the mainland of aust.either 12mile or 12km cant remember its been a long time since ive been there.
